Titel: un faible instant
Technique: In a dimmed room, we find two linen canvases, simply leaned against the wall. On each of them is projected with a glass-slide, being colored with blurred spots of black watercolor.

Description:
This installation plays with a pictorial dimension, which is difficult to grasp by our perceptive capacity. Even though it does not seem to be visible, it is present and can be clearly sensed by the beholder. We can describe it as an atmospheric layer.
In a dimmed room, we find two canvases, simply leaned against the wall. On each of them is projected with a glass-slide, being colored with blurred spots of black watercolor.
This painterly technique carries a sublime and rather seductive effect, inviting the beholder to step close to the canvases. As the dia projector is hidden somewhere in the room, it is only to be discovered as the picture’s source, when the beholder crosses the light from projector and immediately recognizes on the canvas the shadow of his own. All of a sudden, he is confronted with an empty canvas, showing nothing but that shadow.
